Guilloché: 10 Day Class (Advanced with Enameling or Jewelry Instruction)

Advanced Guilloché

10-day class, 3’500 CHF, 4 students max per session. Classes run from 9:00 – 17600 with a 1-hour lunch break. This course runs Monday through Friday, weekends are free time to explore and absorb the teachings or just relax!

In this 10-day intensive course, students will learn to work independently and think out side of the preconceived notions of what guilloché can and cannot do/be. They will be encouraged to explore different applications for guilloché as well as to think about interesting and innovative forms for guilloché. Students will be exposed to contemporary uses of guilloché and will continue their study on self-sufficiency using both the straight-line machine and the rose engine combined with many other tools ranging from the hydraulic press, soldering station, to basic enameling and jewelry processes.

Students will complete a minimum of 3 projects in any materials they choose.

There will be 4 big classes, dates to be determined. Submit a request for class and we will get back to you with dates that are convenient for both parties. We can make suggestions on accommodations and transport within the region.
